Sarah has wide experience as a former teacher, from Primary through to FE across eight different educational settings. She is an advocate of student-led methods and believes in saving teachers time and energy, through helping them explore the full value of Educake.
Sarah has also worked in museum education and historic building restoration. At the weekends she enjoys visiting museums and historic houses with her family. When she is not busy being a mum to two energetic boys, Sarah winds down with yoga, movies and good food.
Lucy loves the benefits of Educake for a student's learning journey and the fact it helps teachers by saving them precious time. Prior to joining Educake, Lucy worked in Account Management and Project Management and enjoys servicing customers to ensure they have the best user experience.
Outside of work, Lucy enjoys spending time with her two young children and exploring new places with them. When Lucy isn't chasing after her children, she enjoys watching live music with her husband and friends and eating nice food.
Sophie has always worked in sales and thrives from building relationships with customers. She really enjoys interacting with teachers, knowing that she can save them valuable time with Educake resources and support them wherever she can.
Sophie loves walks with her dog Bertie, seeing family and friends and never misses a DIY opportunity (but never finishes one project before starting the next!).
Hayley has helped teachers utilise online teaching resources for many years. Driven by helping teachers get all they can from Educake, Hayley loves helping teachers save time, make things easier, and ideally get some time back for themselves too!
Outside of work Hayley loves to pretend she is an exercise enthusiast.... but really has a bigger addiction to buying sportswear than actually wearing it. She loves helping others personally too, and has a real interest in wellbeing coaching and selfcare. Every year she looks forward to time away in the sun away from busy life and exploring new destinations!
Having been a teacher herself, Sophie fully understands innovative pedagogical approaches and has first hand experience of all the triumphs and challenges teachers experience. Working in Edtech provides a unique way to help support both students and teachers achieve their aspirations.
Outside of work Sophie loves spending time with her two young children and husband. Sport and adventurous challenges play a big part in her life, including learning to fly a plane!
Gill has worked in the education system for a number of years before joining Educake. She believes passionately in young people's desire to learn and Educake's principle of supporting teachers with engaging, relative and quality resources was what attracted her to the company.
Her favourite activity to do in her spare time is getting out on the river either canoeing or paddleboarding. She also enjoys walking and reading. Her love of baking also means she finds time to try a recipe or two at the weekends.
Rachel has worked for many years supporting teachers to help them to maximise the resources to ensure that they can support their students fully, while saving themselves time.
Outside of work, travel is Rachel's passion. She can usually be found exploring somewhere new and exciting. When she's at home (planning her next trip) she enjoys cooking and spending time with family and friends.

Nicola, our Managing Director, is committed to directly supporting teachers and improving student outcomes.
As a parent of three teenagers, she has experienced firsthand the challenges schools face, particularly during the disruptions of lockdown. This experience deepened her commitment to creating solutions that truly support both teachers and students.
Nicola is passionate about the power of technology to transform the classroom experience and is dedicated to ensuring that Educake continues to meet the evolving needs of teachers, students, and parents alike. She's always keenly listening to teachers to gain insights and perspective to stay aware of the evolving challenges and needs within education, ensuring that her work continues to be relevant and impactful.
Cheryl joined the Educake team to help coordinate upcoming events. With over 20 years of experience with educational events, Cheryl has a passion for education.... and cake!
Tamara looks after events. With a background in Admin, Events & Marketing, plus two active boys to look after, she enjoys being organised, creative and finding ways to be more time efficient.
Tamara’s passions are dance and the arts, travel and exploring new places, plus being with her family and friends.

Vicky manages Educake's marketing activity. She has worked in a range of commercial roles in the education sector and now enjoys making sure as many teachers as possible know about the benefits of Educake.
She has a keen eye for detail, loves getting stuck into a campaign report and working out what can be improved for next time.
Beatrice is a Senior Marketing Executive for Educake. She enjoys generating awareness for a product that really works, helping get Educake in the path and hands of teachers and students. On weekends, you can find Beatrice getting stuck into a good book or out on the water in her kayak.
Georgia works for Educake as a Marketing Executive. With a background in public libraries, she has a passion for education and wants to help teachers and students thrive. She enjoys finding creative ways to spread awareness of Educake and creating resources that teachers and students can enjoy.
In her spare time, you can find Georgia trying out new craft projects, cycling and spending time with friends and family.
Emily works as a Partnerships and Content Marketing Executive for Educake. Before joining Educake she worked as a History teacher, and loves being able to still help both teachers and students. She really enjoys working on the social media side of Educake, as well as thinking up new ways to get the word about Educake out to as many people as possible.
In her free time, you can find her either at a pub quiz (inevitably losing), reading a good book, or trying to keep herself active through hiking or the gym.
Charlie wants to make every teacher's life that little bit easier and loves all aspects of marketing. Charlie helps promote Educake using a variety of channels, including social media, emails, analytics, and SEO.

Alison works closely with teachers to ensure that Educake meets their needs as well as possible. A former English teacher herself, she understands the difference that quality learning resources can make for teachers and students.

Anna is the product director for Educake. With a background in cognitive science from Berkeley, California, she works closely with teachers to make sure Educake’s features, design, and content are easy to use and focused on solving problems.
Moni has been in IT for a decade, having worked in various roles. She has a passion for process analysis and is a natural organiser who enjoys helping teams craft the best plans to build high-quality products in the most efficient and enjoyable way.

Sasha has been coding since the dawn of the internet, when monitor display screens only came with orange or green writing on a black background, and remembers Y2K being a thing that got us programmers all worried. She cares about making the Educake user experience the best it can be.
